more more more

{ my little cross eyed cutie pie }
{ wore my hot pink J Crew cords & Mona pumps to date night Sat }
{ loving my new red hair...maybe too much? }

{ baby b day outfit }

Maybe some day my posts will make sense again. Until then, here is a hap hazard look into my life. All about my little babes, too much on line shopping (sorry but I'm not sorry hubs) & not enough time with my fabulous husband. Oh but our little man is the cutest babes in the world, it's pretty exciting watching him grow (13 lbs now)!!!
Planning a vaca to the snow in a month (anyone with 4 month olds have wisdom or encouragement for me!?) Never traveled far with him & it will be about a 3 hr drive....hoping all goes well considering he hates the car....oh man.
More soon I promise!!!!!

I really need to keep up on these!!

{ first time in his BebePod }....how cute are those socks?
{ baby bath time! }
{ mommy daddy date night }
{ sparkly Sam Edelman's }

{ an attempt at lunch with a friend }...let's see if she still has baby fever ;-/
{ daily walks through the woods in the moby wrap }

So there you have it folks...
Life of a stay at home mom includes breast feeding (a LOT), not sleeping that often, play time on the bed, boppy and my arms, walks while baby wearing & the realization that this shiz is hard. I mean....emotionally draining hard. I like my personal space (and I don't have much of that), I like to sleep (and you don't get much of that either)....but, there's also nothing (NOTHING) better than his little sleepy milk drunk face, or his smiles, or his curious eyes. So, ya, it's worth all the sleepless nights & frustrating times...
because he's kinda (really) my everything.
Love you little man, be nice to mommy, she gave birth to you ;-). Yup, I'm using that line....

*Life also includes help from my amazing family (especially my momma), with out those little breaks to take a bath, sleep or run to Target....oh man. I might be a mess. Thanks momma. xoxo

Baby Shower!!

{ baby shower wears...those heels didn't last too long }
{ blocks spelling out baby's name (Sterling Nesta Nanasy)..hand made booties & a fabric bunting sign }
{ me & the best! }
{ opening the pressie's! }
{ Lea & me..the 2 preggo's }
{ a little laying out after the festivities!!! }
{ everyone took part in tie dying me a little onesie! They are insanely adorable! }

I had a marvelous baby shower! My momma & bestest lady friend Ashlee put together quite the festivities. Beautiful flowers, decor, AH-mazing carrot cake cuppies, little activities for everyone (sooo loving all the little tie dyed onesies I have right now). There was good food (scones, creme brulee french toast, creme fraiche, then on to lunch where there was a bruschetta bar & watermelon margaritas (for everyone but me of course!). It was so nice to hang with all the people I love most & it was such a beautiful day for it too!!
Thank you all my lovely friends & family (momma especially) for throwing me/coming to my baby shower :-) I couldn't have asked for more.

weekend wrap up

This weekend was spent....
{ contemplating some pretty cute dresses @ Target, hey, if it's fits....I like it }
{ spending a lovely day at my bestest's parents yummy salt water pool }
{ attending 1 very cute Indian themed bday (feather head dresses & all) for a little 1 year old named Lola }
{ walking the Bob Jones trail with the hubs on the 4th }
{ drinking an iced Dragonfly latte at Amsterdam }
{ watching the hubs beer taste at my favorite local brewery Central Coast Brewing...torture }

And the verdict is...
Yes to 2 very cute (and comfy) maxi dresses at Target.
A pretty lovely golden brown tan from sunning at the pool with my lady love.
Took home a pretty feather head dress that I am seriously tempted to wear somewhere again.
Got lots of "that thing looks like it's ready to HATCH" (srsly!?), and "are you having that baby today?", and "how many more weeks?" from strangers observing my 32 weeks belly through my fitted tank on the Bob Jones trail for the 4th.
Took home a growler of Catch 23 from Central Coast Brewing that I am most definitely having at least a sip of (come on) once the hubs breaks it open.

Good weekend of sun, salt water, friends & precious time spend with the love of my life before it's not just him & me anymore....Hope your 4th was warm & festive :-)

weekend wrap up

{ the Shutter Booth @ Nell & Cole's wedding! }
{ finally wearing this dress, & loving every minute of it's tent-like ness }
{ a watermelon & pineapple snow cone....oh, i think so! }
{ my lover/hubby/baby daddy's 30th bday!!!!!!!! }
{ gotta get some sun on that 31 weeks belly }
{ the centerpiece at Nell & Cole's wedding...so shabby chic }
{ the gorgeous couple, I mean, come on! }

It was a BUSY busy weekend.
Saturday I started the morning doing makeup for my beautiful bride-y friend Danielle, her 6 bride's maid's, her adorable little momma & her fiance's (now hubby!! woo) mom. If you're a makeup artist you'll know that's a lot of people for one preggo to handle...but let me tell you something. These girls are the sweetest (funniest) bunch you will come across, Nell has some seriously fabulous friends. I had the best time, if not a soar back. It was well worth it, everyone was so appreciative. I was just stoked to spend time with everyone while they were getting everything together. There's nothing like the morning of a wedding!!! So much excitement & anticipation & love & friendship...blah blah. It was marvelous.
Sunday was my honey's 30th bday. He started the morning with a surprise golf extravaganza, new bag & all with his boys!! Then to a beach bbq with a 5 gallon local Amber ale, shishkabob's, stuffed portobello's and some really good company. I can't believe my babes is 30!!!!!!! We met when he was 20, and when I think back over the years I can't believe we're here......we must be real live adults or something, although we don't feel like it at all. ;-)
I hope your weekend was magic kittens.

from Cinco to Sunday :-)

Happy Cinco!!!!!!! Usually I would call this "Cindo de Drinko", but not this year (for obvious reasons), never the less, I met up with some of my girlis for drinks (them=amazing looking margaritas, me=sparkling water) & apps at a local restaurant Cielo. Would not recommend going there for food (or anything really) much better places in SLO, but I would highly recommend the company ;-).
Had a sleepless night on Thursday night/Friday morning (pregnancy insomnia?). What to I get for it? An adorable little arrangement of succulents, Craspedia & some marvelous looking little buds of some sort from my Mommacita, who must have felt bad enough for me in my groggy/grouchy morning state. So sweet ;-)

Mother's Day Sunday was spent with my little fam at Castoro Cellars in Paso for free music & not so free wine. We brought a little picnic of salads and cheese, parents and the Mr. bought some wine (and brought some beer) and we just hung out on our little mexican blanket in the fair weather relaxing to the free jams. It was perfection.
Monday (I know...I know, my title says "Cinco to Sunday", you have to admit it flows better than Cinco to Monday)...no? Any way, Monday my momma and I went to my doctor's app in the a.m. (measuring a few weeks bigger than normal, even though I've only gained 4 lbs. feeling nervous, but hoping everything is fine), followed by an hr. at the foot spa (gahhhhhhh...I fell asleep and was apparently snoaring. lol). and a little lunchi at Big Sky where I got the cold sesame ginger noodle salad packed with spinach and other veggies. It was deliciously amazing and I am finding myself trying to plan when I can get that in my tummy again asap!
Friend's "day of the dead" themed wedding on May 28th.........It's going to be super fun and very festive. Dying to wear this Aida Coronado dress......DYING. Not dying to spend the $220 (plus $40 shipping from Mx) on it. :-( Kinda sad. Can you even imagine how comfy and breezy that gauzy delight would be though.

weekend doings...

{ Nelly's coconut cuppie }
{ Nelly & me at her bridal shower! }
{ a sunny lunch @ Dockside }
{ My Mr. :) }
{ Watermelon plantings }
{ little garden--4 kinds of tomatoes, mint & chives }

This weekend has flown by all too fast, but was full of little adventures!
Planted these tomatoes with my dad a few weeks back & they are definitely getting bigger!! Can't wait for this summer to make bruschetta, caprese, you name it.....
I got those watermelon seeds in my Easter basket last week & got around to planting them, it sure doesn't look exciting now, but come summer I plan on enjoying water melon everything :-)
Saturday was spent going to a dear friend's bridal shower, where there was good food (such good food), good people & good weather. What more could you want, right!? Followed by a bday BBQ with our bestests' for a belated bday celebration (more cupcakes...strawberry this time).
Sunday the weather was perfection so we headed to Morro Bay for a sunny lunch at one of our fav's Dockside (where we had our rehearsal dinner last June!).
Hope your weekend was full of wonder loves, onto Monday. I'll be spending it with my love Vix over cheese &............sparkling apple cider (sigh) :-)
